The following healthcare services are not available from Student Health Services at TCNJ:
- Care or monitoring of chronic (long-term), unstable, or complicated health conditions
- Laboratory collection for tests ordered by outside healthcare providers
- Collection and disposal of used syringes
- Faxing of prescriptions from outside healthcare providers to the pharmacy
- Receiving or storing prescriptions from outside providers
- Dental services
- Administration of medical treatments (e.g., B12 injections, transfusions, IV therapy, infusions, etc) or space in our office for these treatments. Please make arrangements through your insurance company for the services of a home health care agency that can provide these treatments in your home/residence hall room.
- Post-operative wound care/dressing changes
- Suturing
- Injuries from motor vehicle accidents
- Clearances for surgical procedures
- Pre-employment drug testing
- Physical therapy
- On-site pharmacy
- On-site x-rays
- Emergency services – call 9-1-1 for services that require immediate urgent medical care
- Allergy shots
- Receiving, storing, or administering a student’s own medication or medical supplies
- Medical care for faculty, staff, Sodexo, or campus visitors
